Every number on this site, and where it comes from.

We publish this because we got it wrong. An earlier version of this site carried a band of outcome claims that were never measured, one of which — a validation budget of zero — was simply false. Every one of them is listed below, retired, with the reasoning intact.

A number now reaches a page only through this register, and the build fails if one does not. That is a mechanism rather than a promise, which is the only kind worth making.

74 Modules Measured at our founding customer

The product has 74 feature modules. They are grouped for customers into six domains — Quality, Production, Metrology, Training, Intelligence and Platform — which is how they are presented on this site. Internally the application organises them across seven navigation sections (Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Intelligence, Communications, People, Admin); the two groupings describe the same 74 modules.

0 Vendors with an ortho reference Our own research — not third-party

We are not aware of another MES vendor with a named orthopaedic implant machining customer.

Evidence still to be produced

We believe each of these is true and we have hedged the wording accordingly, but the artefact that would let you check it does not exist yet. Listing them here is the point.

250,000 Knee systems a year Evidence pending

MESvantage was built inside, and is in daily use at, an orthopaedic contract manufacturer producing approximately 250,000 knee systems a year.

226 / 226 Test cases passed Evidence pending

In March 2026 a formal validation exercise was executed for MESvantage at our founding customer’s site: 226 of 226 test cases executed and passed.

Point-in-time qualification of that configuration. The system deploys continuously, so this must always be published alongside the change-control statement.

175 / 175 Requirements traced Evidence pending

Our target implementation time is 10 to 14 weeks, measured from contract signature to the first electronic traveller signed in production.

This is our plan, based on our own deployment. It has not yet been demonstrated at a second site, and we say so.

Retired claims

Published previously, removed, and kept here so the reasoning outlives the cleanup.

€0 Validation Budget Retired

False and dangerous. Under ISO 13485 §4.1.6 and the FDA QMSR, validating software for its intended use is the device manufacturer’s obligation and cannot be discharged by a supplier. Telling a regulated buyer their validation budget is zero is the claim a VP of Quality disqualifies you for, and the one a plaintiff’s lawyer reads back to you.

~70% Faster Audit Prep Retired

Neither figure was measured, so reconciling them would only have made them consistently unsourced. The replacement is a claim of kind, not magnitude, until the measurement exists: baseline QA labour hours for the two audits before go-live versus the two after, method documented and signed by Croom’s quality manager. If the measured figure turns out to be lower than the one we published, we publish the lower one.

90d Time to Live Retired

Undefined. "Time to live" was never given a start or an end event, so it could not be checked or missed. Replaced by an explicit definition — contract signature to the first electronic traveller signed in production — and an honest note that the figure is our plan, demonstrated once, at our own site.

~75% FAI Cycle Reduction Retired

Unsourced. Returns only with a defined start and end event and a measured before and after.
